DESCRIPTION:

Two doors up from house 3 in this series is a house set in a valley among trees and designed to blend into the surroundings.

Built in 1980, the house is still occupied by the original owners.

CONSTRUCTION:

The house is timber framed on pile and pole foundations with vertical weatherboarding and corrugated color steel roofing.

The lead light windows to the gable ends of the house were originally housed in the St Andrews Church in Hastings.
